We do accept walk-ins, but cannot guarantee that breakfast will be available since we pre-order them. However, there are food trucks and cafes nearby.

$10 per adult and $5 per child (12 and under) CASH ONLY

Buses will meet the trains from NY and transport guests to downtown Westport and to all venues. (From Grand Central Station the 7:02, 8:02 and 9:02 trains will be met)

The UNA USA Southwestern Connecticut Chapter has been hosting United Nations Staff, Delegates and Agencies at June Day for 58 years. Please come and be honored guests for a day in Westport, a unique New England small town.

WELCOME:  We’ll check you in at Jesup Green in Downtown Westport CT along the Saugatuck River after 9:00 AM. We’ll have a boxed breakfast and a special June Day gift for you.  This year we are partnering with Westport Sunrise Rotary and there will be activities for the kids and a giant yellow duck! There will be a brief ceremony at 10:30 AM.  

The rest of your day is yours.  We have a few ideas…. 

  • Soccer: The UN Team will face off against the Westport Knights at 11:30 at Saugatuck Elementary School (1/2 mile from check in). Contact Brock Hotaling at

  • Tennis courts have been set aside for you and some local hosts. Bring your own racket. Our volunteers will set up the games from 11:15 – 4:00 at Longshore Club Park,, Pizza and drinks will be provided. XXX for more information. 

  • Golf is available for experienced golfers at the Longshore Golf Club, one of New England’s best courses. Meet at Longshore Club House at 12:30 for lunch and a start time at 1:30.   • Earthplace: an optional bus will leave from Jesup Green for a special tour of Earthplace at 11:15. You can also drive there. Our nature center is always a favorite with our June Day guests.

  • Wakeman Town Farm: a bus will leave from Jesup Green to the Farm at 1:45. You can also drive there. The farm is a model of sustainability and there are lots of animals for kids to meet, including alpacas, goats and chickens. wakemantownfarm.org

  • Compo Beach is a destination in itself with a great playground, snack bar and lifeguarded beach. For non-residents, the weekend daily pass is $70 – but we have free access for you today. You can pick up your parking pass at registration.

  • Town Pool: Westport’s three pools on Long Island Sound are available to visitors today. The pools are located near the tennis courts.

  • Downtown Westport is filled with shopping and restaurants. Don’t miss the sidewalk sale!

  • The Duck Race:  Westport Sunrise Rotary will have its annual Duck Race at Jesup Green at 1:00 PM.
